Salt Creek

Mike teaches so close to the ocean that we were able to meet him after work and spend some fun family time together. The kids had such a blast digging a huge hole in the sand with daddy.
I got to sit and enjoy the views - both watching my loves all play together and the ocean. I think sunset is the most beautiful time of day.
And it was wonderful to spend some time with my husband!
Wonderful day. I need another!

Easter 2010

Easter was super dee dooper fun this year! Kylie and I got home Saturday, late afternoon. Just in time for me to do a few last minute Easter things. I didn't get to do all that I wanted to do for Easter, since I spent almost a week in the hospital with miss Kylie, but that's ok. The kids were thrilled with what the "Easter Bunny" brought them, and we're working on the true meaning of Easter. Not entirely there yet, but Konner knows the prophet is Thomas S Monson!!!

We got up and checked out the baskets and loot. Konner was thrilled with his skates and Batmobile. Kaylin immediately paid all of her attention to her new puppy and carry case. And Kylie just sat on her dad's lap with her egg of candy in one hand and devoured her granola bars with the other hand.

Watched some Conference and then had dinner. After dinner the kids went on an Easter egg hunt and found plastic eggs with money in them. They love money!! Then they tried out their new skates and then colored Easter eggs.

It was a great day. I had a blast with friends and family. Played some Sequence. And got to chat my brother's girl up about their little girl who will be arriving in July. Fun times!

Poor Baby

So Kylie found her way back to the hospital again. This time it was cellulitis, which started with pink eye and turned into strep. This kid is forever sick!! But she is loads better now, and we are finally home again.

She is getting her breathing treatment, and actually didn't mind this one....
But she did mind when the other nurse came in and put a flush through her IV!!!
Oh my gosh, she finally fell asleep! She slept on me the whole time were were there. And finally Thursday night I got her to sleep in the crib. Though she still slept on me during they day....

After a few days we got bored. So we started watching TV.

This kid would NOT eat!! Seriously, this is what food time was like every day there. She either handed the food back to me or she threw it at me.

Finally go home day has arrived! I don't love Queens. But I do love Queens Pediatric ward. Arlene and Angelita were two of Kylie's nurses this time. Angelita was also one of Kylie's nurses last year. Great nurses!!
Thank you mom and Becky for helping me with Konner and Kaylin. And thank you Dave and Annie for being willing to help with Konner and Kylie. I really appreciate you guys, and I don't know what I would have done without you! And I very special thanks to Kylie's Dr, who helped me out with Konner (who was up at my mom's) with a prescription (because Konner is now sick) when Konner's Dr wouldn't help. The best pediatrician for sure!!
