We cancelled our Internet at home so I won't be able to be online much. Unfortunately that means I cannot update my sites for a while. At some point I'll be back, and I can even do a little Internet at work, but very little. We also have cancelled our home phone so any of you who want to get in contact with us you'll have to call our cell phones. I'll miss you.

Christmas...

I will be posting a few pictures from Christmas soon. My battery went dead in the camera and I need to get a new battery, so I have not been able to upload them onto my computer!

We had a very eventful day. My family all came to our house this year. We had 8 adults and 10 kids, so it was chaotic!! My family came in early in the morning and Konner woke up shortly after they got here. Konner went down the hall and into the living room and his eyes were huge! He was so excited for his "Pwismas Pwesents". Mike and I had a rough time getting him to sleep the night before because he wanted to open his presents from Santa. So we told him that Santa won't come bring his presents until he goes to sleep and that his presents will be there in the morning. He laid on his bed and after a few minutes he told me that he was awake now and ready for his presents!! LOL. He has been in heaven since Christmas playing with his new cars and trains. Kaylin got some great things. I even put some cars of her very own in her stocking. She has not touched one of her Christmas presents. She just wants to play with and in anything and everything her brother is playing with. Which is total upset for Konner.

When evening came we all piled into our cars to head to my aunt's house. Mike and I were almost to the exit to get to her house when my sister called me. Every member of my family was involved in an 8 car accident. They were few miles behind us in 3 cars. And all 3 of their cars were in this accident. Luckily everyone was ok, but my brother's car.....not so much.

Very eventful day, wouldn't you say?

The most amazing Christmas lights!

There is a neighborhood that is about half an hour from our house that has the most amazing Christmas decorations. We took the kids to see this neighborhood. They loved it.

Konner was getting a better view up on Papa's shoulders than he was in his stroller!!

Poor Kay Kays was so tired. It was way past her bedtime!

25 and holding!

So I am not one of those women who does and will grow old gracefully. I'll enter old age kicking and screaming the whole way!! But inspite of my inability to think positively about old age, I did have a great day!!

My friend Jill has a birthday 4 days before I do. And each year I like to do something special for her to show her just how much I love her. So the night before her birthday I went over to her house late and I decorated the outside a little for her. She turned 50 this year. I thought it would be special to share that with the world. So I had little happy birthday signs and little hanging 50 signs and a bouquet of balloons with a lone 50 in the middle. I even had a sign on a stick that announced Jill had turned 50. She called me early the next morning just thrilled! Her husband is always most helpful. He laughs at my good times and makes her keep the decorations up. So Saturday morning rolled around, and my house was left untouched. I was amazed, but very much ok with that. Saturday afternoon rolled around and when I went outside I saw my own house decorated. In brood daylight!!! How did no one hear this happening I ask you!!!????? And the best part is, she recycled!! She reused my decorations. I AM NOT 50!!!

My friend Tammie made this amazing cake for Kaylin!! It's so adorable. And it is a real Strawberry shortcake doll in the cake. And it smells like the Strawberry Shortcake doll. I keep smelling it. Thank you Tammie, I love it!

My husband is so good at the roses thing. I love roses. Absolutely love them. And he gave me the sweetest card I think he has ever given me. I keep rereading it. But he doesn't know that!!!

My big girl turned 1 the day before I turned 25 again. (He he he he he). We had her birthday party on my birthday. It worked out perfectly. She had her birthday party and then my family stayed late and we played games. We love Sequence. My cousin and I have an ongoing war. So far I am the queen, though she may try to deny that!!! LOL!

It was such a great day. I couldn't have asked for a better day.

Thank you everyone who came and shared Kay's and my day. Thank you Dave and Annie for taking the time to stop by. I know you guys had 50 other things to do.

The most disgusting book I have ever seen.

So a friend of mine gave Konner this book for his first birthday. I have kept the book pretty much hidden from Konner. Ok ok, my dining room table under some stuff isn't exactly hidden from a 2 year old who gets into everything. So anyway he found this book. And he was most definitely intrigued. I HATE this book. I hate it more than I hate "I'll Love You Forever"!!!! But of course Konner loves this book. This book is his current favorite book. Every night he says "Da poop book!!! Da poop book!!!" And every night I silently pray "Oh please not the poop book!! Please not the poop book!!!!!" As you can see it is not a pretty book.....

Konner AND Kaylin both look more like mommy? Yah right!!

My sister-in-law Liz had this meter on her site. I thought it was cool, so I stole it!

I have to say that I would love it if atleast one of my kids looked like me, but the simple truth is they both take after Mike. And Konner is a little mini Mike. So this meter is fun ,but crazy!!!

A little Fairy Princess....

I am so very blessed to have the family that I have......

Mike took Kaylin on the walk for the costume contest. Konner could not be removed from the candy stealing. A brother from our old ward continued to look the other way every time my two year old went back to his game and stole candy.

Kay Kays won the adorable prize!!

Many more pictures are on or will be on the kids' sites.

Happy Halloween!

So I haven't carved pumpkins since I was a kid. I don't enjoy it. They're messy and it's gross. But trying to be the good mom here who gives her kids every experience they deserve, and well I ended up doing all the work!! Konner lasted a few minutes and then quit because he said "Ewe. Is yucky. Ewe." And left me to finish it.

The finished product. The little one has a bat on it, but you can't tell. I guess I need to practice.

Eternity....

Here's a little story.... There once was this boy named..............we'll call him Jack. And there once was this girl named...............we'll call her Jan. And they had these two friends.........we'll call them the Potatoheads. The Potatoheads set Jack and Jan up like 15 years ago and Jack and Jan did their best to aggrevate all around them by not COMMITTING to each other!!! They dated on and off for a while. And then on for a few years. And then off for a few more. And then they hung out after 4 years of off and aggrevated Jan's peeps some more by not COMMITTING yet still. And then one day out of nowhere Jack told Jan he wanted to marry her and only her and would wait around for her becasue she said noway was she getting married!! (He lies by the way in his version! My version is the only correct one!!) Jan thought about what he said and decided "What the heck? Why not just get married? Everyone is doing it!" So 12 years after meeting because of the Potatoheads, they got married. And then had a couple of kids and a cat. The end.

But seriously, Mike's retelling of how we got engaged is so not accurate!!

Our family photo 2007

This photo session was so difficult. Konner did not cooperate. And the photographer wasn't so good at her job. This was actually the best one of all that she took. We'll be retaking our family photo probably when Kaylin goes in for her 1 year photo!

I'm giving Mike a run for his money!

We took the kids to the county fair today. It was fun. I'll have a couple pictures posted on their sites. But these two pictures are great because the unicorn I am holding? I won that. All by myself. Mike loves the games at fairs and amusement parks. I used to be really bored and beg him to move on. But last year I started playing with him, so I started to actually enjoy the games. I sucked bad tonight and did not win anything the whole night almost. But the very last game we played before leaving I hit the jackpot!! I got my ball in the purple cup!! Woo hoo!!! So I instantly won one of the big prizes. Mike was very proud of me. Kaylin was out cold by this point and Konner was ready to go home.

A decent picture of me?

Since having Kaylin I have been super huge. It's depressing being like 50 pounds heavier than ever before!! So I joined a gym and hope to lose 5o pounds and then maybe I'll have a picture of myself that I actually like! This picture is the only one taken of me at my brother-in-law's wedding that I thought was decent of me. That's my sister-in-law Michelle and niece London.

Jessie and me

This is my little blonde Jessie. When she was 4 she yelled at me in the middle of Relief Society to pay attention to her. My Singles ward bishop, who was teaching the lesson, stopped the lesson so that I could pay attention to her. I also took her to McDonald's topless when she was 5. She didn't want to wear a shirt. Good times Jess!!! Good times!

I love this centerpiece!

Saturday my friend Tammie and I went to another friend's bridal shower. We got her a bunch of naughty toys for her gift. I won't say what we got her because my husband is still cringing about it. But this was her centerpiece for the tables we sat at. I need to throw a party now so I can use it!!!

Mike chatting with his dad

Sunday afternoons are great. It's the one day where Konner gets to play outside and have both of his parents watching everything he wants us to watch. This Sunday though, Mike multitasked and talked to his dad on the phone and watched whatever Konner said "Wat Daddy, wat!" to.
