Much appreciation

Whatever would I have done without my mother-in-law this past two weeks? She was an absolute life saver. She flew in the day I had Kylie and stayed with me in the hospital until I was released. She got up with Kylie throughout the night to feed her and change her. She got peed on, spit up on, and cried on. She heard "Grandma, play cars with me!" and "Grandma, help me!!!!" over and over. She diffused temper tantrums and tears (some of them mine....). She cleaned, carried heavy tubs, and organized. I can't possibly say thank you enough. I miss you already, Marilyn. Come back!!!!

To my very hard working husband.... Konner, Kaylin, Kylie and I all love you very much. And I appreciate all you do to make a life for our family. Good job on the house finding. The view is the best part! And thank you thank you thank you for the new toilets! Woo-hoo!!

Dave, Raquelle and Julie and Gabe, man do we appreciate your guys' help in our move. Even when it meant you were out until 3:30 am and forced to spend the night out our house!

Our 60 seconds of fame

Mike really wanted me to post this. I would really rather not, but he asks so little of me...... So here it is. His 60 seconds of fame. This is for you, Mike.

She made it!

Here she is. Kylie Nicole Rigby. She came 3 weeks early, but she was perfect in spite of it. She weighed 7 pounds 2 ounces and was 18 inches long.

A run down of how she came to be born earlier than planned....
Thursday morning Konner tripped over a friend's dog and fell on his cell phone. He cut his eye lid and had to be taken to emergency. He got his cut glued and we headed back to my friend's house.

I left Konner and Kaylin at my friend's to go to another friend's to pick up a bassinet. On my drive up to my friend's I was rear ended by a truck. I was taken to emergency so they could monitor the baby and me. While at the hospital my water broke and I went into labor. So 3 weeks early came my new litle girl!

Apparently 2 is not a cooperative age....

Out of 16 poses these two are the only two I actually liked. My little Kaylin was not at all cooperative. She flat out refused to cooperate with the photographer. She rolled around on the floor. She repeatedly got up and came to me with her arms up saying "My hode you mommy". No bribery appealed to her. I tried the ice cream approach. I tried the park approach. I tried whatever I could think of. And all I got from her was "My go home." Oh well, maybe next year....
