Vasaline be gone!!!

From the time Kaylin could reach things she was getting into stuff. Anything! Especially my lotions, perfumes, and make-up. It's been a losing battle (for me) with her for 3 years! But finally, FINALLY, she's growing out of it. Thank goodness!! She's got her own lip glosses, her own (kids) make-up, and her own lotion.

Enter Kylie!!! Kylie is 2 now, and she has taken over Kay's job of geting into EVEYTHING messy! She's after lip gloss, it doesn't matter whose, lotions, whatever she can get her little mits on. The funniest part about that is she typically gets Kay's stuff and not mine!!! Karma is wicked, isn't it???!!! But last week, she got a hold of my large jar of Vasaline. And she slathered it all over her body. From head to toe!! Did you know that Vasaline is near impossible to get out of hair???? It is. I washed it 4 times with shampoo. Nothing. I washed it twice with 2 different dish soaps, hardly a difference. So annoying! I was so frustrated. She looked like a dirty wet head. So if you happen to have a kid who happens to fill their head with Vasaline............I'm going to let you in on a little secret, because I searched the internet for a solution, and I found one!!

Baking Powder and Dawn dish soap. Seriously. Massage Baking Powder into their head and then wash it with Dawn dish soap.

Wa-la! Kylie's hair is back!!! Vasaline is all gone. Don't think I'll have any again any time soon. And maybe, just maybe, I'll actually learn my lesson this time and get a box with a lock!!!
